So Toni, does your family have somewhere to unload the horses? Or do you have a farm in mind to stop at? I will definately need to stay overnight there, but I have friends to stay with as long as I have somewhere to leave the horses. And will you be able to transport your horse the rest of the way to TX?

I have 2 daughters living there so Ronnie (Dau) will be scooping out barns for me. I'm excited because she will be my eyes. I want to make sure the lay over will be a good one. Colorado Springs is about a 9 hr drive from my barn. I'll be happy to share your room. The more money I can save will be more money I can use to get my dream Kiger. I can't tell you how excited I am. Toni...it is so great that you are able to get your ducks in a row to have your very own Kiger. It will also be so cool to have more Kigers in Texas...!!!

Toni, yes, we still have space in our hotel room. I've booked it for 5 nights, so any bit you want to chip in will definately help. As long as there is a safe place to unload to shuffle horses around in Colorado Springs, I'm counting you as a definate for the one of the 3 spaces I have available.

Cool, Great & Awesome. I am so excited. (1.) to finally have the chance to get a kiger. I have been waiting since 2002. (2.) to get to meet all of you guys I have watched & admired over the years. I will be flying in on the 6th & leave 9 or the 10th. Will be flying out of & in to Denver.  |

Sevierville is pretty close, maybe 2 hours? And yes, I'll be passing through Colorado Springs to make a stop and drop off a TWH gelding on the way west, and drop my husband off at his friends house that live there. He will be spending the week with his friends while me and my friend Tasha are at Kigerfest.  ) |

I have to say I am WAY impressed with your husband letting you and Tasha go to Kigerfest unescorted....I think my husband might be too worried about the amount of horses I'd be bringing home to risk it! When I went last time he was a bit clueless about what it was so I snuck one home, LOL.....I am so excited for you all that are going!!!!!

Hahaha! He just figures it's a lost cause. I've been planning this trip since the last Kiger adoption. He figures his opinion is pretty worthless... and he's right, lol. I only have so much to spend, and so much open trailer room. I would LOVE to bring home two, but I doubt it will happen. I have to haul some back for other people to help pay for this trip, lol.

I'm looking for transport for my Sulphur Mare, Sassy, from Pearl, Mississippi to Phoenix if anyone is going that way. She's 14.3, don't know her weight, 3 years old, and has been with the trainer since last November.
