"Ctxkiger said it well: I would much rather the BLM do their job than have the horses starving like many are in private ownership."
Couldn't agree more, Kim. Unfortunately, that's a double edged sword. History is subjective I guess.

Kim,
To answer your question it was me Tim that wrote the post that you are questioning. I have no idea why it posted under "Stacey in Oregon" any more than I do why my avatar says I'm female.
However, to the point, I know what would, should or used to be in the KMA Historian Files because I have read them, made copies for my own records and added information pertinent to the Kigers history that I recieved from the BLM in hopes that a complete history of the Kigers could be kept in several places and available to those interested in viewing it. The records I got from the BLM are a matter of public record and anyone can request a copy of them. They certainly don't have to believe me. I can't speak for the KMA as to whether or not their files are open to the public. If someone is interested I will gladly let them make copies of any official documents, meeting notes and documented history that I have. It is not my intention to tell anyone what "history" they should believe, only to make the information available to them so that they can draw their own conclusions. The information on freeze brand numbers and the associated notes came off of official BLM capture and release data forms and I have cited it verbatum. If folks want a copy to read for themselves and to "interpret" they can contact me and I will send them copies.
