A few weeks ago i noticed a small line across Frodo's feet. Neither myself or my mother thought much of it. I have been out of comission for the past 4 weeks after having my own baby and havent been able to get out to handle him at all (complications with and after delivery). However when i went out to take some new pictures of him his feet caught my attention. To me this does not look normal. He is 7 weeks and 4 days old and is up to mt sternum. Could his feet be growing like this because of how fast his body is growing or could this be a more serious problem? I am trying to get ahold of a trailer and someone to help me take him to the vet but in the meantime ... HELP!!! Dollie, his dam, is having no problems with her feet, they look perfect. If you dont know he is half Kiger / half Andalusian.

I've seen that frequently in foals, but if you can handle his feet easily, have your farrier out to take a look and start giving him little trims. if you've got a good farrier have him out rather than the vet. JMO

That's the baby hoof growing out - no worries!! He does need to start having trims though...his hairlines are crooked and it looks like rear quarters are getting jammed some especially on the front feet.
