Okay...I'll fess up. I bought a new Kiger mare and she is finally here! Her name is Joy and she is from Oklahoma. She is actually a Charro granddaughter. She is out of Sierra Myst and by Nieto de Sombre (which I could not find much info on...). Joy is super sweet and so easy to get along with. She fits right in here and is very calm and willing. You might want to ask Kristi Billinger about Nieto de Sombre (or Shadow which is barn name)...She has a gelding out of him from when Bettye and Carter Roberts owned him...She would probably have more info for you or if you want me too I can ask Bettye questions for you.....

Shadow was out of Bucky (Kiger Don Sombre) and Rubie (same Ruby?? as Nola's mare's dam?) Sierra Myst is Geronimo and Quail. I wonder where Mystie is now? I love Quail and her foals. Sedona is her granddaughter.

Yes the same Quail. I was going to buy one of her fillies back around 2001-2 until the price went up to $7,000 for the weanling. She is in So Calif now, her name is Chantilly. Last picture I saw was as a two year old, gorgeous. Betty never liked Mystie much. Couldn't figure out why.

Wow love this one Mrs.Michelle. She definately has Charro's big soft eyes, and what a feminine head she has on her! For some reason she reminds me a lot of Vida, facial wise and everything. Does anybody have any pics of her sire?
