I could not be more thrilled with this "little" filly! She was born the size that Vida is now. Zerlina has so many similarities to Gringo it is uncanny. He really passed on his top line, his movement and so much of his character. Nice to see he stamped this foal with good stuff - hopefully, we'll see the same in the next one. LOVE her uphill canter already!

I am thinking Gringo will be a great cross on the purebred fillies by Charro. Very exciting! I will be breeding him back to Tasa this year plus at least one other mare as long as all goes well with the outcome of the foal from him and Chilli.

First day out...poor Tasa has her work cut out for her. Zerlina never stands still very long - she goes from laying down to launching up into a full gallop in one leap. I have to try to get that filmed; she looks like a gazelle!
