It has been a long while, I thought I had this in the bag. Super is 2 yrs old, I noticed him pop up licking his lips. I went out and sure enough Fantasy was producing clear liquid,I am sure would eventually turn into milk If I allowed continued nursing. Kinda' bummed as I had hoped to keep everyone together. I thought about selling Super but that seems a bit of drastic solution, maybe a few years apart will do the trick. I wasn't sure who to seperate out, I ended up moving Fantasy out. Super still has alot to learn from a herd of horses and every young boy needs time to play. Fantasy will be OK just watching from the side lines. A friend of mine wondered if that had anything to do with Fantasy bleeding over the winter. A possible hormonal imbalance with a desire to start nursing again. I don't know, normally if I was still breeding Fantasy would be in foal at this time and would be definately kicking Super away. With no more foals in her future who knows? what that crazy horse is doing.

Booger.....I hope everything works out. I think you made a good decision though. Super will be able to socialize and stay out of the kind of trouble that can develop from being by himself.
