Hi All, Been a while since I've frequented the board... I hope you're all doing well.
I'm selling my last remaining Kiger, Sunnie. He's a wonderful boy and will be hard to sell but I'm not doing him any justice. He likes to work and have lots of attention and he's not getting that from me. I've got a haflinger mare who is good for me and my daughter and that's who we're using now as Sunnie sits in the pasture.
He was professionally trained by Gin in '07 (www.hilltopfarm-oregon.com) and side passes, collected jog and lope and would make a great show horse or riding partner for the serious horseman. He's smart and needs to have the stimulation.
Let me know if you're interested and we'll work out a price.

So sorry to hear that Joan. I know that's a hard decision but one that alot of people are having to make right now. Im sure he will find a good home, someone that will enjoy him and give him a job. Good luck!

Joan is gifted in finding great homes for the horses she sells. Sorry to see Sunnie go Joan, I know how much you love him.

Raiseded by Joan, trained by Gin, someone is going to get one fine Kiger. Feels like the end of an era. I remember Joan and simon getting their place and all of the excitement.

Joan:
Wishing your Sunnie a great new home....I think it's harder to let them go then it is to let them sit...and kudos to you for making the harder choice especially if you know it's the right one for Sunny!

Thank you Dianne - yes, I've been blessed with finding good homes. I sure hope I find one for my boy. Linda - Yes, that is exactly how I've felt for a while now... Been in denial about letting the "Kiger era" go. But it is time and I feel I'm ready. I sure will miss him and may have to run inside when I see his trailer pull out but it's for the best. Hi Angela! Thank you so much... It has been very hard. I've been needing to do it for a while now and just couldn't. I think I've prepared myself and looking at life differently with my daughter, Annie. Amazing how kids change you... And I've got my sheep to keep me busy now!
