Wow! Love that dun factor at work on her face. The dark spot above the eyes and the wide strip above the muzzle. She is a very pretty girl. Lisa

Cali is a wonderful girl. She loves attention and being that special mare to someone. Her mane looks like she spent hours in a Hollywood salon for a foil with tons of dark and very light frosting. She is what I would call apricot dun, a very light red dun and should throw some really light grullas when bred to the right stallion. Joan has done an excellent job with this mare and she is a treasure.

Thank you Lisa, yes her markings are beautiful. Her mane is out of this world as far as bi-coloring and she always likes to grow it long. ;D
Thanks Dianne. She is a special girl and I am going to cry when she leaves. We've had some great years together but I feel guilty keeping her and not putting her to use. I've decided to keep Annie & Sunnie and those will be my two... I figured Cali would give someone some love like she has to me. She's a dear soul.

I've decided to keep Cali so she is now off the market. I will be listing her sister, Annie Oakley instead. It is a very hard decision for me but have decided that no matter how big my heart is for Annie, Cali is the wiser choice for me. It has taken a couple of friends and my husband to help me with that decision. But, Cali is wonderful, mellow and gets along with Sunnie really well. Annie hates his guts and there will never be harmony in the pasture with her and Sunnie living together. ;D That and a few other reasons, being that she's quite a bit more hot blooded than Cali as Cali will make a great horse for my daughter when she's of age. Just an FYI to all of you.

Joan:
Can you please email me with information on Annie? Her age, pedigree, training, personality and price?
Thanks, Kelly info@canadiankiger.com

Oh good! I was sitting here going "I can't buy her" but wishing so hard that I could. If you ever want a foal Blue Skies will stay a stud, depending on how things work out.

OOOOHHH Dianne, wouldn't that be something!? I've got to get my herd down to my two and then wait to let Simon soak that idea in. ;D That'd be quite a mix though... Hmmm... LOL

JoanMRK...I so know your dilema I am glad you have come to a conclusion on who will stay and who will make a new owner a happy Kiger owner. I too have two fillies I can only keep one and they both could not be any more differant, but both are wonderful in their own right. I love both my girls deciding which one to sell is becoming increasingly more difficult the more time I spend with them.

Good for you, Joan! I've often wondered why you weren't keeping Cali for yourself! I think you've made a great choice! ( and if you ever wanted to cross her on Fuego you would surely get another lovely apricot dun LOL )

All I can say is that "love is blinde" and Cali is a better choice for me and my life now. Annie is a blast but would be better if I was the only horse-girl here. Now I have to think for two. Tiffany, this is one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. I adore Annie, but she just isn't a good fit for my life right now. Now to search for the perfect person...
