New Rex Baby

Fresco out of Kiger Kapri and Kiger Rex born 3-18-2011. First baby of the year for Flying D Kigers. She waited until Shauna and I left for the Albany Expo until she made her appearance. She arrived between 7 and 9 am and was all legs. Very curious but mom keeps a good eye on her. She is with her sire and half-brother and another mare so she is being socialized. Shauna got the first touch on Monday morning and the little one is very sweet. The legs let her move very fast, very far so mom is having a rough time keeping up with her. Ralf

Cutie! Look at all that fluff! All our babies are being born nice and slick, but they don't have to deal with outside weather the first week.

Your mares are slick too Sarah, all that warmer weather or something. Maybe they do whatever the mom is doing for coat. She is really sweet! Can't wait to see more of her. Lucky Shauna to get the first touch, always a thrill.
