Just got news this morning that our home bred mare, Diva, was excepted to compete in this years Versatile Horse and Rider competition at the Ohio Equine Affaire! I am super excited, as obviously her owner Joan is too! www.equineaffaire.com/ohio/participate/versatile-horse-rider-competition/I appreciate Joan so much for putting the time and years of training to make Diva the horse she is today. Diva is Lusitano/Kiger (Hipogrifo x Madonna), older sister to Reina and half sister to our young stallion Hawk. Here is a link to the trainers Youtube channel...I belive there are four of Diva. This gal has been in the top four the last four years and tied for first once - she's done a great job with Diva! www.youtube.com/user/daepep

WOW! What an amazing mare. You must be so proud to see some of your babies grown up and doing so well and to see your breeding program paying off.. ! Very well trained mare for sure - you can see the time and training put into her. She sure looks beautiful and very responsive to Joan and listening...very athletic also!! love it!

#1 really glad Diva has that nice brand on her; anyone with knowledge will be able inquire on that if they want to go shopping. #2 Yep the girl is doing a nice job but I am going to tell everyone (cause Michelle you are too polite to blow your own horn !!!) Michelle's horses' can usually do 1/2 to 3/4 of that stuff before you buy em. #3 What is really impressive with the Clarke school of cognitive training, is to see project horse(s) going from kicking out plate glass windows, breaking a coffin bone, trying to trample people on purpose - to becoming a beloved jumping / cross country beginner horse for a young lady who is a novice rider and from what I now understand is the favorite to ride in competition at Notre Dame U. God's speed Eric and Michelle - I am forever in your debt.

Will be there on Friday. Looking forward to meeting McKenna and Dawn with Sombra and now Reed and Ellie exhibiting for the BLM. Hoping Diva has a prelimanary run on Friday as I would love to watch her too. It's her trainer riding not her owner, correct? Looking forward to meeting Joan. It's looking like we could soon have a group of horses prepared and exposed enough to represent Kiger Mustangs as a breed at a future Equine Affaire in OH. While there is a waiting list for breeds, I feel sure that Deb Putman's promise made at Lousiville when we exhibited in 05 will hold. We get a prepared group, she'll get us in at Ohio. Looking forward to that. Kigers in various demos is a great start!!

Unfortunately Diva's qualifer was on Thurs instead of Friday so I didn't get to see her or meet Joan. I would have to believe that Diva and her rider would have made the finals based on the qualifiers I watched Friday. Not sure what her time was and yes, there were a few bobbles, but this video displays horsemanship much more correct than any I saw on Friday. Beautiful horse, beautiful rider! Hoping they made it to Sunday's finals! www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zzWkXZ0eyoKaren

Awesome, Michelle! They deserve it! What a pleasure it was to find this video after watching most of the qualifiers on Friday. To be honest, I left Columbus totally disillusioned with the quality of horsemanship I saw throughout the event. This video was a pleasure to watch. Diva would be welcome in my barn any day!

Congrats to breeding such a lovely horse, and of course the fact that she's a Madonna daughter just makes her so so special.....Madonna was such a nice nice mare.....
