Bravo and I are auditioning for America's Favorite Trail Horse this April and we need your help to spread the word! Bravo's website/ Facebook page is: www.facebook.com/pages/Bravo-Canyon-Americas-Favorite-Trail-Horse/183326168352712He's an amazing horse and an outstanding representative for the Kigers. There are LOTS of amazing horses competing in this, many who are ridden by trainers. I'm just a girl who a year ago was afraid to canter. In the past year Bravo and I have done everything from gallop alongside the road to swimming to jumping to cow sorting to tackling just about any kind of obstacle you can put in front of us. We've come a long, long way and it's because of how amazing Bravo is. So please help us by spreading the word to anyone you can, Like his page and share his link on Facebook. We'd greatly appreciate the support and will really need it when it comes time for voting! Thanks so much!!

If you are on any other horse or mustang loops that it would be appropriate to post this on, please do - spread the word any way you can. We promise to do you proud! Thanks again!! Cindy

Thank you so much everyone! I really think this is going to be a great forum to get word out about Kigers. Competitive Trail really suits our versatile breed. If you haven't tried it, you should! It's a lot of fun :-) Bravo and I are going to a ride this weekend, our first in about 3 months or so. We're also training for Extreme Cowboy Races- but, yet again, Oklahoma seems to be a loser when it comes to actually having events. :-(

My adult daughter Danielle just signed up for ACTHA with my 12 year old 1/2 Kiger, Casino. She will be participating in her first ride Saturday March 19th. Next year I will join with Casino and she will switch horses to her coming 4 year old Kiger mare, Faith. What a fun thing to do with our Mustangs. Trail riding is our passion here so it fits like a glove! She has been conditioning Casino and ponying Faith. You and Bravo look amazing and make the obstacles look easy. My family will be voting for Bravo. Go Kigers!

Hi Cindy Danielle and Casino placed 13th out of 44 horses in the pleasure class. They had a wonderful time. We've been working on leads, his right being the lead he favors. The lope obstacle asked for the right lead and wouldn't you know he picked up the left! There were 8 obstacles in all. They aced 6 of them, but had trouble with the gate. Lots to practice. We were impressed with how technical the course was. Her girfriend Katy(she's a Kathy Valentine apprentice trainer) placed tied for 3rd out of 44. Awesome job by both of the girls and their horses. They are signed up for their next ride in April in Cle Elum WA. this ride was held 6 miles from our home in Maple Valley WA. We got some good pics, but they are too large to load here. Maybe Danielle will post on her fb. We follow you on fb and are huge fans! ACTHA addicts in WA! Best, Darla
