I am wondering how long I should expect it to take to receive registration papers from KMA? I sent off paperwork on my filly last September. My check was deposited on October 7'th. I have still not received anything from them.

I'd contact them and ask- there are several email addys on the site- just email them all if you aren't getting a response from the registration person. Start with these two contact numbers:
