We just got back from Oregon's horse expo. KMA had 4 kigers there to represent our breed. We had a great time and the horses were very well behaved. We got lots of wonderful comments and a lot of interest in the breed. From left to right. Lisa Sink on McCoy's Double Trouble, Jackie Sigloh on Kiger's Conquistador, Kevin Sink on Riddle Me Dino, Debi Pretty on Riddle MT. Little Big Man. Jackie's horses: father and son.

Well, they've had blankets on, but Jackies horses are body clipped. Lisa

now I was told body clipping makes it impossible to shed out the next season. Have any of you heard of that too?

Nola:
I've never heard of that....We always used to body clip and blanket when I showed hunter/jumper and the horses never had any coat problems....

PS: Gorgeous kigers in those pics....Thanks for the update Lisa!

Everyone looks great horses and folks alike thanks for sharing the pics' I clip some horses too, it has no effect on their coat other then change of color sometimes. Leave it alone awhile and it all returns to normal.
