Welcome hopepitre...Your grulla mare, Freya looks great. There is certainly lots of exerpienced Kiger Mustang owners and riders here on this forum, as well first time owners. It is a great place to share. migelle61..I just love that photo of all 3 of you together that is great. One of my good friends is 4th level Parelli with her Black Arabian, it is fun to watch them play. She has helped me thru' a few tuff spots with my Kiger mare Fantasy but she is challenge. I am glad to see you are here and look forward to seeing more posts about Diva's progress.

Fantasymare, thank you. Welcome to the other new Kiger humans! Is that the young woman the earned her black string with Pat Parelli himself? If so, she is awesome. I am mid way through Level 3 and the fun stuff is just around the corner, if my Arab can handle it, we should be back on track in the spring. Right now he is busy healing his lungs, so no high aerobic activity for him.
Today we started a bit of "work" with jumping barrels and trotting over poles on the circle. She is not very enthused about it, but it is too slippery outside right now and just slow play doesn't condition!

...LOL, it works either way Fantasy is my Kiger and a mare. Yes, my friend did work with Pat himself. I am not sure she is the same one you are thinking of there have been so many students of Parelli.

Yes, but not many with a black string, and a black Arab. It was filmed and put on a Savvy Club DVD. Very good.

Hey Folks, I am a little late on this post but my name is Elizabeth and I became a Kiger fan last June, when a friend introduced me to them. I now am leasing a little kiger filly with hopes of owning her soon. She's got such personality and she makes me laugh every day!

Thanks guys! Tawny is 3, to be 4 this summer (we're guessing) from what I know her mom was pulled out in 07 when she was pregnant with her. Somehow she never got branded or registered, so we're on the search for the mom.

It is not uncommon for foals of wild Mustangs not to have freeze brands. The mares often foal out with there newly adopted owners. I am sure there are several 2007 Kiger Mustangs out there unregistered. Tawny is adorable and looks great in english. I wish you the best in your search for her dam. Hopefully someone out there will recall her.

It's great to have a new member! I look forward to getting to know you and the kiger you are leasing. Feel free to ask lots of questions. You can also take advantage of the search box up at the top if there is something in particular you are looking for, just make sure you ask for around 900 days if you want older info.
