This is fun. I am jumping in late, but I assumed it was probably one of Rick's horses, but boy does he look like a pony in these pictures. Cute, but he doesn't really strike me as a kiger in these particular photos. I could see part kiger/pony.

Wow Silverado himself ...he has changed as he has matured. I would have thought that was one of Rick's fillies.

I am not sure exactly how old he was in those photos...it was about 11 years ago. He was being ridden and already had foals on the ground. Maybe he was like five or so?

I had a Silverado daughter and still have a grandaughter. the daughter was the horse that looked bay w/dorsal and who grew a black overcoat which she shed every year. The g daughter is dun and had Steens head type until this fall and now it is elongating to look like her sire, my gelding. She has that same compact body as Steens does and her temperment is great.
