After having frigid tempatures we got up to 30 degrees and the horses enjoyed a little nap. These are our Kigers, but not all, Dino is missing in the photo ;D

You know, I just noticed in this picture the geldings and babies are in the middle huddle together and the lead mares Lovely and Lady Rose are posted off to the sides and back a ways. Interesting!

I'm surprised they don't nibble the fir trees. We cut some branches down for a new fence and the horses were on them right away. Neat photos!

Very neat picture. How old are the mares off to the sides? Duiring nap time my two oldest mares always put some distance between them and the herd, just because the young ones and the one gelding we have at anytime can act goofy and disturb a good nap.

I wonder if all those little trees are good for belly scratching? It would be funny to look out and see the group of them rubbing their bellies on the top of the trees.
