Wow, too cool! To be able to run in the jockey postion is one thing, but to get that nice collected canter still in the jockey postion is amazing. And even the sliding stop in the jockey position. Wow.

That was way too cool! To think I'm taking riding lessons just so I can learn not to fall off....

I saw this too and it is real great. It took a great imagination to come up with the perfect routine background music and everything, then to pull it all off.

Wow that is definately amazing. I always thought if me and my horse Ruger ever decided to try reining it would definately be freestyle because of the creativity you can use when coming up with a routine. I always thought it would be neat to dress up as a dressage rider and have a dressages saddle and do the whole reining routine.

Sense this rider won..I see costumes and much more creative ideas, beyond just coming up with your own reining pattern, showing up in the showring in the future.

Yes I totally agree with you on that one! I think the biggest plus for me is you can ride in hackamores, snaffles, halters, ect. and not be so restricted on that. Unfortunately with the freestyle you have to choose from a certain set reining pattern and then adjust your routine and music towards that certain pattern, i'm hoping that will change soon though.
