Picaro comes to VA!

SO HAPPY! Saturday morning, while I was getting things together for a show, who should pull up my drive but the great and wonderful Amanda who bravely drove all night to deliver the ultra handsome Corazon di Picaro to his new herd! Mogwai was....not as excited to be reunited with his partner in crime as we would have expected, but Whinnie (my tb mare) puts up with his antics as long as he does not get out of line.

He's settled right in! Unfortunately he was a naughty child today and skinned his knee when he had a baby moment durring a leading lesson. >.< He has a new halter, pony sized because weanling was too small and yearling was too big.

ANYWAY! Here's linkydoomer to my Flickr account! He's latched onto Whinnie as his 'new mommy' and Mogwai has reclaimed his position as Partner in Crime. OH how I love them those silly beasts.

oh my good grief if this month hasn't been insane! He's loving life here, except that his 'adopted mom' moved down the street to be a friend's training project. So far he's sweet, wonderful, curious, silly, spunky and all the other wonderful things a 6mo colt should be! I'm so bad about keeping these things updated though! We had our first 'tiff' durring a leading lesson. Silly boy decided the rope meant nothing, and ended up slipping, falling, and skinning his knee and fetlock >.< I'll say it was a TB moment. Yes... He had his first bath which was also VERY entertaining. My dry lot wasn't so dry by the time he realized the water wasn't hurting him and stopped trying to get away from it (to no avail, as the hose and I followed). More pictures!
