Was wondering what products if any that people use on there horse's mane's.tails? Ive noticed Bella's white in her mane is gradually going away. I was thinking maybe it was due to it being dry and brittle since its the top layer of mane and it gets all the sun and elements but not sure. It's getting shorter and shorter and not growing back!

She might be rubbing it out--since it is the top layer it get rubbed out first?? I'd try some MicroTek.

For my horses, I use people shampoo that's been diluted down. Missy has a super thick mane and tail, so I use Matrix Sleek Look. It's a heavy conditioner and shampoo that makes it way easier to brush out. Plus it helps it keep from tangling up while she's rolling around in the field I have checked out a lot of regular horse shampoos and conditioners, and for some reason they usually use a lot of wax in them. The wax builds up on the hair after a really short time using it, and makes the hair brittle and break. I'm sure they have good horsey products out there that don't have the wax in them. But we have a really limited number of vendors around here, so I didn't have a lot of options.

I will bet she's rubbing it out. Flax helps as it reduces inflamation, MicroTek is good too. There's a thread on here somewhere.

I just use EQsolutions or Ezall green as a shampoo and then Mane and Tail detangler.
