Help to stop BITING INSECTS

I brought this over from another message board and thought some of it to be useful, especially for deer flies, which are a plague here in Michigan. We have had exceptional rain, heat, and humidity here this summer and the biting insects are BAD!

For riding I have deer fly patches that came from the conservation district, basicly what they are is a overly sticky patch you stick to a hat or helmet and when they circle and land they get stuck. You would not believe the number of them that get caught on your hat when wearing one.
I think two sided tape might work the same. But these are pretty sticky.
