Lol, that reminds me of a picture I took of a mare rolling and her newborn foal standing next to her. The mare had her legs strait up in the air and the foal look horrified. The person who was developing the pictures looked worried and asked if the mare was dead. We chuckled and said that she was scratching her back.

How many horses can you fit under an Oak tree on a hot, humid July afternoon... Fourteen! Okay, for those of you actually counting...some of the more wild ones took off stage right when Erics' Lab ran up through the brush!

We're STILL waiting for summer, have only had one day over 75 so far...so had to go back and look for something. A shot I took a couple years ago of Becca and her Rainy as we were hanging out with the horses.

Someday I'll get Photoshop and be able to do something with the overexposed area. Becca has the look of eagles in this shot doesn't she? My horse! and the horse agrees.

This is a shot of my daughter (then 12) and my app filly last summer. My daughter was supposed to be helping me with some work around the yard. She disappeared, and you can see where I found her......

Dianne, I think that is "mind melding." Priceless photo. Has Lee seen that one? Brandy, that too is priceless. What a blessed girl and foal. I wish I could submit the picture stored in my mind's eye of my then 3 yr old daughter, laying on her pregnant white pony, with our Irish setter puppy curled up next to the pony all napping together in the warm May grass. I had no camera!!!!!

Brandy, that is the perfect image of lazy summer days! Tiffany, I remember this picture of Wickee, such a sleepy princess.

Freya normally doesn't nap in the pasture but she was sedated the day before for the vet and didn't feel so hot this day. Attachments:
