I'll bet she does look like Lovely when she sheds out. So coyote dun (brown dun) plus a healthy dose of sooty is my guess. The test for the brown gene is an agouti gene in a horse that doesn't look bay, so I'm not sure that testing Nesa will prove that, but testing the foal might.

what adorable photos Mrs.Michelle.It looks like she takes after her mom more so than charro.So does she have a dorsal stripe?I noticed that she has some pretty dark shoulder barring on her.

i think she look a bit like my little LULU when she was born i will have to find those pitures on the board and look. but as i remember she had that really light color inside her legs.

well i went back and looked at pg 3 of foaling anouncments in new member new baby...and lulu was not as bay as yours michelle, but a few things in common. Dang you little one is SO shiney
