Super and Scout were both born a year ago this month and I took a photo of each today while they were standing around out back. Scout Super

They're looking wonderful Tiffany! So do you get to keep Scout? That would be great, very striking looking. Super is so well named, he looks like he is just so interested in life and has so much going on between those ears. You must be thrilled that your dream is being realized.

They are looking great!! Super still is super and looks as though he has a Kiger attitude! Looks as though he got the best of both horse and donkey. They are sure growing up.

My Super loves me ;D does not care for to many other people, but his relationship with the farrier has greatly improved and we did get his feet trimmed FINALLY. He still wants to be near Fantasy but does fine with periods of time with her out of sight. I have started ponying him out on short trips out to the BLM and he is doing well so far. He is getting braver as he gets older, as well. Which is a nice change but with bravery comes pushy, so I have to always remind him to keep his distance and repect my space at all times...except mule hugging I give him lots of love and hugs.

Tiffany:
WOW, they are both incredibly handsome boys.....Glad Super is more accepting of the farrier....And I think one of the best thing you can do with young horses is to pony them....get them out and about!
We have already introduced our farrier to my daughter's EMM yearling so when the time comes to trim him hopefully it will go much smoother....He's already good about us picking his feet, here's to hoping he's good for others....My husband and son will also handle his feet in preparation for the farrier visit...

PS: How tall is Super?

The last time I put a tape on Super he was 14.3' I don't notice much of a change sense then but I see him everyday and ignore his size, just think of him as yearling. But he must be bigger then I think because we met some new nieghbors and they asked when I rode my mule....LOL. I explained to them he is just a big baby...LOL.
