Fun with Bravo

Dianne--you wanted Bravo to get ridden--and boy am I having fun keeping up my end of the bargain, LOL!! This past Sunday I took him out on the road pretty much as far as we could go--then on the way back there's a nice uphill stretch of grass and we started out at a canter, but Bravo wanted to speed things up :-) Since he's so good I thought--what the heck--let him have at it, and boy did he run! I haven't gone that fast since I was a teenager There was a car following us, but it didn't pass until we slowed down, ha ha. I couldn't wipe the smile off for the rest of the day!

Saturday we practiced obstacles for our competitive trail ride which will be May 8th. He wowed everyone. We dragged the log, carried the bags of cans, tied a plastic ribbon around a tree, backed in a figure 8, went under the string curtain-- all sorts of crazy things. Did better than the lady who was demo-ing the obstacles *cough*cough*

I didn't get any pictures, but hopefully I'll have some from the competitive ride to post.

Tomorrow I have the day off, so naturally I'll be taking him out for another trail ride. ;D

Also--just because it is too sweet not to share--He's started walking the fence with me when I take my dog Roxy for her evening walks. Gotta look after us girls ;-)

Yeah! Way to go girl! He does like to let the stops out so he was happy for sure. The car was way too busy enjoying the view to pass the beautiful girl on the beautiful horse, you know that's true. He's never done any of the things you described so you and he are communicating really well. That makes me smile! You better take a film crew to the ride, we'll be looking forward to hearing about that!

That is awesome! My imagination took hold envisioning you galloping on the side of the road. Sounds like you are practicing for the Extreme Cowboy Race! You should enter!

Yes....pictures should be required for every time you post something about Bravo Sounds like you are enjoying him way too much and I think you should be sharing him to anyone who wanders onto your place...even strangers <no I am not trying to set up a way for all of us to get down there to share him...shifting eyes...>He was probably a serious piece of eye candy galloping through those hills.
