I know this sounds dumb...but if anyone sees my horse would you take a picture of him? He is going to be at the Midwest Expo in Madison this weekend. Regalo, it seems, travels more than I do. I don' t know how much longer this will go on, but whenever I go I try to stress that he is a BLM mustang and he is sort of pretty, but he has the great qualities that so many mustangs have--so feel free to hang around his stall and tell people how happy you are with your mustangs--bring the baby pictures, etc. Stop by and talk to Ruben, scratch Regalo. I don't know what his schedule will be like but you can ask Ruben at his booth. I think it is entitle Horsemen's Western Dressage--it not it will be Ruben Villasenor. He has other stallions with him as well, so you may need to request a special viewing--Tell them Stacey sent you Attached is video of his last performance. He always seems to learn alot between venues, so I really wish I could see him. Alas, I must stay home and feed the other ponies! www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PQQiqdaEfs

I do get to stay home and feed his babies though. They really are alot of fun. They both are friendly and his little girl often makes these ridiculously silly stampedes across the pasture and skids to a stop in front of me. javascript:add("%20:P") Super cute. She is also quite "cowy" although we do not provide her with cow--so chases the goats and donkeys around. Like her mom she is not super aggressive--just puts them in their place and goes back about her business.
His colt is a red dun and just so sweet--alot like his dad. So despite Regalo's absence we are having fun with the other guys.

You did great Stacey, he's a really nice stallion and seems to be enjoying his travels. Aren't the babies a kick? We could sure use some baby pictures if you would.

I should get on the photos--they still look pretty fuzzy. Yes, they really are a ball.
I heard from Ruben today. Said Regalo did an exhibition during the Rodeo last night and tonight he will do another. His daughter (ten year old Elise) wants to ride the quarter horse stallion and have her dad ride Regalo to the Rodney Atkins song, "Watching You." Its the one about the little kid who wants to be just like his dad. Very cute, and to watch Ruben with his kids is so sweet. He was touched that she had planned this for him.
Thanks for your comments...Stacey

Some kind soul has posted a video of Regalo and Ruben. Thought I would pass it along. Watching Regalo is like watching our college kids, he keeps maturing and learning. Also like my college kids part of me really wants him home! But that is another story.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEOmiuKCxJw
