My barn manager is losing her business (a boarding stable) and can't afford to continue boarding all of the horses that she has at another place. She has a BEAUTIFUL papered Kieger mustang stud that she needs to find a home for before May 1st - he is free to an excellent home.
From Owner: Kiger mustang stallion, GORGEOUS buckskin with tiger striping on his legs. Big baby, and not very studdish at all. He can be turned out with geldings or pregnant mares. Proven breeder with papers. Easy to get along with. All he really needs is someone to work with him regularly and he would be excellent.
From Me: He'd make a really nice gelding - nice movement, very handsome, very sure footed, wants to learn. He is spooky (like afraid of his own shadow) and will need someone w/ experience that can work with him.
The poor boy has been in a stall for quite some time now. He has learned that he can pull away on the lead and take off because his owner has a bad shoulder and can't work with him and he's gotten away from her quite a few times...now it's a game to him. I've lead him in and out of the round pen and to and from the barn and he definitely has the brains to learn and isn't mean at all, but h'e's going to need an experienced handler who can take the time to work and teach him. He WANTS to learn. I REALLY like this horse....lots of potential that is being wasted
With proper training, I personally think he would be outstanding he's oohhhhh soooo gorgeous!!
If anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll put you in touch with his owner. She really needs to find him somewhere to go by May 1st, since that is when she has to be out of the farm she's at.
