Ever notice just how happy and content they look after a good roll in the mud? Sometimes mine act more like swine than equine. When one drops to roll, the others follow. Usually they wait to take their turn in the same spot. Melissa

Isn't it funny how the light colored ones seem to be mud magnets? My fewspot app filly who is mostly white, can't seem to stay out of the mud. She stays sprawled out in it when the sun comes out. Brandy

One reason I love my grullas...can't hardly see a little bit of dirt on them! However, Gringo is always a dirty-birdy and even after one bath, you can see the dirt under his skin making black marks. Makes me wonder how really clean I ever get my other horses!! He needs two washes and three rinses to be truly clean.

I use EQsolutions to get her clean and it is truely amazing how much dirt comes off and with a light horse you actually see it come off. On the other hand like you mentioned you can see every bit on her as well I should learn to use my video feature on my camera more often as every where she rolls Super follows suit. It is too cute to watch.

I would think that if you used a leaf blower on them prior to washing that they would clean up much easier. Blowing the dust out is very efficient. Of course they will just replace it ASAP. My donkey rolls more than the horses, many times a day in the summer.

My friend took a shop vac' to her dusty horse last summer, she said it was awesome. I told her in them fancy show stables they have horse vaccums. I imagine out here a shop vac' will do if it is just dry dirt and if your horse will body clip, it should surely stand for a vaccum ;D
