N I C E! Promotional pictures are always a joy to see! Well groomed Kigers. Steens Vaquero has always been one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing. Melissa

Glad you like them! I forgot to mention that the photographer is Teresa Jones. Not sure if my memory serves me right, but I think that the last pic is of a mare named Trinket. Don't quote me on it though! lol Maybe you could pass it to the person in the photo and she can tell us.

I have some photos that I found of a filly that was in Long Beach in 2004 that was sired by Silverado and of Donner when I went to Return to Freedom. The gal that owned the filly sold her and got into Morgans I think. If memory serves me right... her name might have been Julie? At any rate, we were at the same barn for a few months.

It is good to see old pics and that first pic' of Cowboy is how he is today, very laid back. He may not show but they still ride him pretty regularly out on the trail and run him thru' his paces in the arena. He is still breeding to outside mares as well. They love him to pieces and he is pretty spoiled there on the ranch. As for the others, I think the Kiger Stallion in silver is Sundance and who is the nice stallion with the flag?

I think the mare in question may be Rio's Diamond Lil. Trinket is one of the horses in the pictures on the far side of the arena. I wonder if the stallion is Bendicion Del Vaquero? I have seen pictures of him with a flag, but I could be wrong.
