I felt my foal kicking in Lakota for the 1st time today!! I'm SO EXCITED....!!! Boy it was kicking also - I can't wait!
While I was out there - I noticed something and I had to test it several times to make sure I was see'ing it right. I had walked over to Bella to pet her some and Lakota walked right in between us both while I was petting Bella - I had noticed that Lakota kept pinning her ears back at Bella when she would come towards me and her while I had my hand on her tummy...so I walked over there to Bella and thats when she walked smack dab in between us. So I had to test it again... I petted Lakota some and walked off and stood to my self..Lakota turned towards me but didn't walk right to me - Bella started walking that way and Lakota walked in between us and stopped her and walked to me!!! She kept Bella away and was all over me the whole night - which is sweet, me and Lakota really have that bond - it's very special!! But I did give ms. bella attention also!!! I love her as well....

..it is such a wonderful feeling and I know how exciting it is.
It is amazing how they try for all our attention and it has nothing to do with food. Super absolutely wants my attention and Fantasy has given' up fighting her kids for my attention, she gave up with Wickee. Super just shoves himself right between horses to stand next to me. It is a good feeling to be so welcome in our herd of horses.
