So i was on rick littletons web site ...whats with ALL the free kigers??? whats wrong with them or is it just becouse they are not trained? some look like nicely built and nice colors. dose any one know anything about any of them?

I took a peek I am thinking the free ones are untrained, older and do not fit into his mold of what he wants for a breeding herd, should he still desire to even breed in the future. I think like most older breeders you keep your few favorites and pass on the rest to others, maintaining a large wild herd is still alot of work. In this new horse market you have to be realistic on the value you place on them to find them the best home possible. I hate that I am struggling financially..I would love to snatch up some of the younger horses and give them a good start, they are horses of good breeding. You know I would snag them gray mares...LOL

He does this every year. Good reason to stop and rethink one's breeding program. Just because it's Kiger doesn't mean it's breeding quality. Unfortunately, most people don't get that.

This is one of the most honest statements made. I would also add that just because it came from a Kiger HMA doesn't qualify it as being true Kiger quality.
