Sand in the Round Pen!

Last year I worked horses on clay...not a fun landing! Yesterday I got a load of sand! Tried to extend the size a bit, but seems a truck load of sand doesn't go as far as I'd hoped...or at least not in conjunction with as deep as I wanted it. But it'll do. It'll do ;D

Yep, that deep sand sure does make for an easier landing - not that any landing is good, but good to have some sort of cushion

Sands an awesome thing! Isn't it funny on how only your horsey friends understand how happy a load of sand could make you? This year for Christmas I want LOTS of gravel and some concrete....And a bunch of sand would be great too....We had one of the wettest October's on record here in STL and geesh could I use alot of barn work!
