I just saw this on youtube where 2 guys went antelope hunting up around the steens aug 15 and filmed some wild kigers..so some recent video of the wild kigers. At the begining it looks like a big herd of kigers...they are looking very good. I love the 2 at the end - they look like my 2 - Lakota is darker and Bella is lighter.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCxR_C-WmDU

Wow! thank you so much for finding and posting! As others have said in the past, it is amazing to look at that scrubby brown grass and see how healthy the weight of the horses is.

I'd like to chime in on that, I couldn't be a hunter unless I was hunting with a camera. Killing an animal is not something I could do unless it was a time of extreme need. I'd rather subscribe to the idea that meat is born on styrofoam plates. It really was something watching the two at the end of the video galloping by. One day I would love to go and see the wild kigers with my own eyes. Such majestic animals.

It is a beautiful place too. Even if the Kigers weren't there I'd love it.

How cool !! is that to see all them horses. I am surpised they said they saw more horses then antelope though. Everytime I am out that way there are loads of Antelope. Anyway, the Kiger Mustangs look fat and sassy a welcome sight.

Kigerfan, I'm with you. I could have lived without the antelope kill, but it was worth it to see those kiger beauties fly by looking so healthy and sound. Amazing!
