I don't know how many of you are located in the Midwest but on Sept 12 we are having a little fun show that is hosted by the Midwest Mustang & Burro Saddle Club. The show will be held in Lyndon, KS and will start at 10AM. If anyone would like more information please visit the website www.midwestmustangandburro.com or contact me directly. I'll be there with Segura, perhaps Hawk and maybe Marvel. Angela is working to bring her Kiger named Cord. And Cindy is hoping to bring a couple of her Kigers - maybe Lazzy and ??. It will be a great time for some fun. Most of us are novice in the show ring so really we have more fun than anything! We hope if any of you are near that you will join us too! Kristi

I can't wait.....I have some truck/trailer maintenance to do before I can come with horses, but even if I can't come with my babies, I will be there to help out anyone who needs a groom, general show advice, or just cheering on! Several mustang owners are planning on camping and I think it's going to be much fun!
Kristi....Hawk would be easy to show of course....And Segura too...I think it's time for Marvel to come off the farm and this would be great exposure for her!

The show was an amazing success! So many mustangs came and performed awesome! The judge was really at a loss for what to do for a trail course, and opted to use the extreme course at the facilities, but commented that she didn't think her horse would even consider going through the obstacles! She was very impressed with our 'stangs! Pics of the course and show to follow, but first here are the KIGERS!!: Kiger Cordero! Kiger gelding Smoke! Segura and Marvel! Lazuli and Rain Dancer

Cindy - thanks for posting pictures. The show was great fun! I believe everyone had a GREAT time, next time there are a few things we will do differntly but it was a barrel of monkeys! Cindy walked away with many ribbons so she must have had a wonderful time. :-) Angela and Jessi came all the way from St. Louis and I always love seeing those adventurous two! Cord is just beautiful!!! I think they left with a handful of ribbons too. Jess even let me ride Kahlua and I felt so honored! I just love that little mare! I took Marvel and it was only her third trip from home and I could not have been happier with her behavior. I have put some more photos up on the Midwest Mustang & Burro Saddle Club page if anyone is interested in seeing them go to: www.midwestmustangandburro.comAnd, one of the funniest classes of the day was the stick horse race. For a video visit Karen Cooper's blog at: mustangtripp.blogspot.com/What a fun fun day!!! Kristi
