Hi, We are looking for a used bumper pull trailer; 2 or 3 horse slant, no ramp,no straight load, no feed mangers, good rubber. Tack or dressing room not needed. Age is not important, cosmetic appearance is not critical as custom graphics will follow. We have a beefed up 6 cylinder Ford p/u so weight may play a part. Goosneck may be a possibility if we add the hitch to the bed. If anyone in the Northwest (Or, Wa, Nv, Ca) has upgraded recently and needs to sell your old one please let us know. Thanks all

It might be useful to put what your willing spend for a budget or if you have anything your willing to trade. I have a photographer friend who just got a real nice saddle by bartering. With your filming and photagraphy talents, maybe someone is willing to trade part or all of the cost. Just an idea

You always have something positive, creative or fun to post Tiffany. Thanks for the advice. We are trying to stay under $4,000 if possible. I'll talk to Rick and see what he wants to do about bartering and re-post or update.

This message was so funny because all I could read of the title was "Wanted used 2/3 horse" Made me laugh! Good luck in finding what you want Bobbe.

Thanks George for the info. You bet we will check the floor. It has to be sound in every aspect. We have had two trailer accidents here recently, although it was driver error, not a bad trailer but it makes me more aware that we need a good one. Fortunately horse and human were okay and the gutsy horses loaded into another trailer soon after the accident so they could get home.
I can't wait to get one so I can teach the babies about trailers.

I am with ya' Bobbe..we had to sell our trailer during the hard times and I am trailerless. Thankfully I do have a nice neighboir with a little trailer I can borrow if I really need to. I am happy to hear that your in the market for a trailer as that is a sign your doing well. Things are looking up for us too and eventually I too will once again be in the market for another trailer ;D *oh by the way my friend has purchased both a horse, training and saddle by bartering portrait sessions with her photography, it is something to consider.

Tiffany, if we find a trailer I will sure let you borrow it if needed. We won't use it often, but I have always been uncomfortable not having one. I have helped evacuate horses in California in the path of a fire. After we geld Fit and he recovers and goes to a trainer, my hope is to finally be able to show him at least occasionally. I hope to take him to the wild mustang and burro show next year and show folks that he turned out well. When it came time to load up after the show in July, Fit wanted to be coaxed into the trailer, while the still un-halter broken mare walked calmly downthe aisle into the trailer and just stood there. Go figure . Gayle Hunt was standing by to help load her. Fit went in after only a minute or two. I think he was takling one last look at his new friends as he thinks all horses he can see are part of his herd.
