If you had to pick just one feature that you like most about your horse, which one would it be?
For me, it's Firefly's eyes. They truly are windows to her soul and she has such a beautiful friendly, spunky, oving and intelligent soul. Her eyes are deep mahogany pools that you can just loose yourself in

Well, I'm not sure how anyone could go with anything other than eyes, lol! They're the window to the soul. I've yet to meet a mustang who hasn't got kind, soft eyes.
I must say that Dakota, the tip gelding I've got right now, has a lot of lovely features, though! You can barely see his eyes through the heavy forelock, and when he moves? Good golly, he's breathtaking! Very Spanish looking; you'd think a dun Andalusian, or Lipizzaner. Big, massive shoulders with a nice, rounded back and hip. He's just stunning no matter where you look.

I have to agree about Dakota...he is a looker.
For me it is Fantasy's lovely color..you can't miss her in my herd of colored horses. It is a good thing she enjoys baths I am always washing her, to keep her looking bright and light. Just purchsed a new whitening product to get the stains out of her tail. Of course she always rolls in the dirt after every bath and there is just to much tail hair for it to stay clean long...still I try and keep her looking her best.

Yep--I have a horse-crush on Dakota as well!
What a fun topic!
It's hard to pick a feature--eyes for sure, but I think that's because through their eyes you see their horsanalities, and that's what makes them them. I've had two abused ones, and it's crazy how one minute they're completely there and the next you look into their eyes and nothing.
So for strictly aphysical feature, I'm going to go with their muzzles. I love them! And Kigers have THE softest noses. And they are so cute. I just can't stop kissing on them, ha ha.

I agree about muzzles......and I love it most when they are highlighted by a long flowing forelock....

my opinion of the pic' posted by Tracey. Wickee has puffy sides to her muzzle my daughter calls her a chipmunck cheeks, it is hard not to squeeze them cheeks.

I think what I like the very most is what is in between those ears, and I don't mean a forelock! I love the minds of my Kigers the best!

The mind, the way they WANT to communicate with you, to come up and just be with you is the most wonderful. As far as a body part, the top of the neck just seems to need stroking . The gaskin for the length and shape of it pleases me on several of my horses.
