Here is the website to our show yesterday. It was fun. They are eventually wanting us to compete, but we'll see. The 2 girls that are coaching us were on a drill team for 8 years and there team came in 2nd at the nationals this year in Texas. They are very good. We have a very diverce group of woman aging from 10 years old to 71, but it's all about fun and we're not rushing it. mountainstreamsaddleclub.com/Jackson%20County%20Drill%20Team.htm

Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy reading about Kigers being used under saddle and in public events. This board is helping to promote the Kigers as trainable, versatile, and competitive horses. Melissa

Thanks everyone! It does look easy but we've had to work really hard to make it look like that We've come a long ways! It was pretty nasty looking at the beginning! Every week something happened with the horses acting up, fighting, bucking etc until they got used to being so close to each other. Of course Lakota was the calmest mare there so I kept getting put beside the bad ones...but we worked it out and look good now. We've got another show this weekend - and I think I will stay and put Lakota in some of the events afterwards. Not sure what yet, but will try some stuff. What is western horsemanship?
