I had mentioned before that I would be attending this show. At first with the intention of showing Wickee, then it came to my attention the show was only for wild born or concieved Mustangs. I had then planned just to attend Sunday to bring Wickee along to hang out and check out the scenery. Now my latest update, as I have been known to change my mind The weatherman says it is supposed to reach close to 100' on Sunday. I am thinking the ski boat and lake sound better then the acclimating horses to the show scene. I know where are my priorities ...LOL. ;D Anyway, I will be bringing Wickee, along with a friend and her horse and my old faithful Morgan to watch over Wickee Saturday. I think I will enjoy the chance to hang out then and get to watch the Mustang Show and meet a few of you then

The show has been a huge success. There were 18-20 mustangs signed up for classes on Saturday. They had classes for all levels of horses in training. Also to fun classes at the end. One was Musical HMA's. When the music stopped you had to get your horses hoof on the big white piece of paper. Dino and Kevin were the first ones out. He didn't want to push the girl out of the way to get on the paper, but she had no problem pushing Dino's body over. ;D When you got knocked out of the game you had to go to the Burns Corals. When it was all over everyone in the Burns corals horses went up for adoption. The audience adopted the horses in a phony adoption. Today there will be lots of Demo's and the T.I.P. horse adoption. Lady Aspen and Julia Reese Debbie Driesner and High Desert Breeze. Aspen and Breezy showing there diversity!

Cool! I've never heard of that game, sounds like it was fun. Great looking horses and great professional rigging.

I have a great time at the expo' Saturday. I took my Moragn mare to help with Wickee's first time at a big event. I was real proud of Wickee at the trailer she stood calm amd quiet allowing me to wander about watch Kevin and Dino' in several classes earlier in the day perform. As well time to chat with Bobbie and Fit before they did the demo'. I did spend some time ponying Wickee in the warm up arena, she was sure the other horses running around were out to get her, but she soon settled down. I was glad to have the help of my riding mare to keep Wickee calm and never allowing her to become over excited. I attended with a friend of mine and her Appaloosa horse she had recently begun leasing. As we browsed thru' the booths she came apon a rescue and happened to flip thru the photo album, to find a photo of none other then the horse she had tied to the trailer outside. It was a joyous reunion for the rescue owner and my friend was grateful to learn so much more about the horse she was leasing. Only one sad note , I forgot my camera, can you believe it. I am glad to see that Stormyranch got some pictures of the fine Mustangs that were there.

We took Dunbar, but sadly he did not get adopted . Although he was ready to be adopted, Kevin offered 30 days additional training for free! We did get Todd Titus to work with him for about an hour. That was great. He really came around with Todd and he made some real progress. We did find out that we may have an adopter for Duke. She will be coming to visit, so I hope he gets adopted.
