July 17th thru 19th marked our eighth year of attending the KY Horse Park for the Kiger Mustang Breed Weekend. Throughout the years, we have strived to improve our performances. The horses captured much attention from spectators throughout the entire weekend. I was gleaming with pride in my horses. The past few months of preparation for this event proved it's worth with the horses and their performances. Above: Karen Clark & Mystic left Melissa Scott & Storm right Kiger Sombra performed the La Garrocha for his first time in public. It was a moving experience for me. Sombrs has such heart. He gives everything he has to overcome his limitations. He's my jewel. Above: Kiger Sombra 15 sec. video Spanish Walk Storm Kiger attracted attention with his size, striking appearance and fluid movement. He is a real worker! I will be thinking about this trip for a long time. Job well done to those who attended and helped! You are greatly appreciated! It was a real pleasure to meet Sarah at Breyerfest. She did a wonderful job exhibiting her young stallion in the opening ceremony Friday morning. He has nice long legs. Nice head too!

You ladies look great and the horses fabulous. I really appreciate all the work you do all year to prepare and put on a good show representing the Kiger Mustang consistantly every year. I do enjoy the pictures and videos as well, that you bring back to share with those of us unable to attend...a big thanks ;D

You will be even more sorry that you missed it once you've been there. I cried the first time, I was there. Having been there in the past, I can assure you there was lots of interest.
Melissa, Always something new and exciting. Everyone, horses and people look great. I miss those days. Wonderful looking saddle, too. Linda D

Wow. Melissa and Karen, you two look great as usual. Mystic is so elegant, Sombra looks fabulous, and Storm, well, he's HUGE! Melissa, I'm having major tack envy right now! I love the shot the person took of you actually holding the rommel reins correctly...so many don't know how! Leave it to you guys to put on a professional performance. Kudos! Kim

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. As always, while alot of work, it was a great time and well worth it. I always enjoy riding with Melissa and her beautiful boys. They're a big part of what keeps me and Mystic striving onward.
While ringside, it's always fun to meet new folks and answer questions about our horses. This year I got to meet Sarah aka Westbury and Spyder, her young Kiger during Breyerfest. What a nice young lady with lots of goals. I also got to meet a very nice young lady and her mother, sorry but names escape me now, that know you, Michelle. She's Kiger crazy to say the least! Met a couple from MI that have a Kiger mare at their boarding facility too. So all in all, I'd have to say that Kigers are becoming more known out our way!

Melissa and Karen It was awesome meeting you guys. Thanks for riding round to say hello. I am glad someone got pictures of Spyder, my camera died... I will have to tell Kim my handler that she is in a picture. She thought that she had escaped due to mine kicking the bucket. I have been sick and off line for awhile but I was going to email you and say that it was great watching you guys. I hope we get Spyder to that point. Possibly next year we can do it again. Sarah
