What did everyone get that they liked for Christmas?
I got the Leslie Desmond CD series Horse Handling and Riding Through Feel. Leslie worked with with Bill Dorrance and every time I hear her it opens a door to thinking about training in a way I never considered before. I think I'm going to really like this.

Oh yes, I got the Barnes and Noble gift certificate to go pick out the horse book of my choice  As well as the big book of 'Vavara's Vision:Equine Images' wonderful photos that inspire me to paint. The rest of my gifts were cooking supplies, no more excuses I don't have the right pan..LOL |

I got to spend it with my most of my children and all my grandchildren, and the look on my grand babies faces when they opened the gifts from Grandpa and me was beyond words. To me that is what it is about giving. and children.

Humm, I'm redoing my bathroom pretty much on my own so my Christmas gifts I got were a bowed shower bar and a nice hand held shower head. I'm getting way too domestic! I have restored an old birdseye maple dresser and turned it into a vanity. That is in it's finishing stages, totally repainted the bathroom and finished oak baseboards and oak quarter round where the walls meet the ceiling. I have more projects to go in there but when the vanity is put together this weekend it'll be back to a functioning bathroom |
