Can Beatty's Butte horses be registered in any of the Kiger registries? A friend of mine is considering buying one, and I wasn't sure on the registry status. I know a lot of the original Kigers came from that HMA... So, anyone know? Thanks!

Not that I've read, but if the horse is a dun it can be registered with the buckskin registry.

No, the ABRA (buckskin) would be OK though.

In ordered to be registered "Kiger," it must be from either the Kiger HMA or the Riddle Mountain HMA -- Beatty's Buttes were the start of the Kigers but that was back in '77... since then they haven't been involved.

The horse would also be eligable for the Iberian Society...
