Three new obstacles added to Steve Holt!'s line up. He's also started to work on the Hydra Bull! No video of that, though

Hi Tracey, I finally got to view your new Steve Holt! video at work today on a faster computer than mine at home and he is doing fantastic!! I am very impressed with him and what he has learned. How many months have you been working with him? Shirley

I got him in early December, Shirley, and thank you for the kind words. This video was taken at the end of week 14, so roughly 3 months after getting him home. He's got about 50 rides on him, I'm thinking. I'd hoped to get at least 60 by the competition next week but snow/ice has limited what we can do at the moment

fantastic videos! I know a whole LOT of domestic bred, long term riding horses that can't do what you two did in that video

Thank you, ladies! Angela, I hear you met Sarah the other day? Yeah, it was good to finally meet her after her being on the Midwest Mustang list for almost 2 yrs with her. I was sad to hear that the training on her mustang mare did not go the way she wanted (I really despise that guy but didn't know she was taking her there)....I am very hopeful that I have found a good home for the 2yr old filly that her mare had....and that it will allow Sarah to concentrate on Nova...When we were eating lunch, she was talking about sheep farming...I said "Hey, I know a mustang lady that's into sheep; wool harvesting, etc..." and then we put 2 and 2 together and realized it was you that BOTH of us knew...LOL Angela

That's too funny. I hope you can find a home for Maddie; she's such a big, stout girl! Sarah needs to be able to devote some time and energy on Nova, like you said. Definitely an unfortunate experience with the trainer, but sounds like Nova has bonded with Sarah a bit since coming home, so perhaps it's played out well in some respects? Speaking of sheepies...we had a couple more lambs on Tuesday! Bessie had her twins last month...about 3 weeks ago, I guess.
