First trailer loading (no, third time the same day and he was getting bored) and first visit to an indoor arena. I'm really liking this boy!

Thank you, Lisa. His lope has a nice flow, but his trot is jarring to the point of scrambling the brain, lol! Jarring may not the right term...it's lofty with a lot of bounce. I'm beginning to think he may be part of the headache problem

I should clarify that it's not us working the bull. When I put this on my blog most folks realized it wasn't us because I always wear a helmet. I'm hoping he'll pull things together enough to be working it in another couple weeks, though. Probably not as nice as that horse, as he's been cutting a couple years

Wow, he's looking great Tracey! Maybe he'll be an english horse with all that loft to his trot. He sure is a handsome guy!

Thank you, Dianne. Yes, he could definitely go English a bit more readily than western. I've wondered about cross country or something along those lines. With his long legs, he steps over those plastic barrels rather than needing to jump He's a touch calf kneed, however, so not sure how that'll hold up going over fences.

Been awhile since I've gotten any new video footage, but DD managed to come along the last two rides and got a bit for me. These are rides 28 and 29.

Thank you, ladies. Joan...fancy? Or are you talking about the arenas? The trail course is set up every Thursday night at an arena 25 miles north of us...makes for a long haul and a lot of diesel, but good for Steve Holt! to get in and around all the obstacles and other horses. The other arena (longer clip) is 5 miles, so just around the corner, and a private coop that I'm a member of...a sweet deal! I couldn't do this without someplace dry to work.
