My filly is a month old and while i was giving mom a bath today the filly wanted to get in on the fun!It was real muggie and warm so mom really enjoyed the bath. i was able the spray the fillys front legs while she was trying to drink the water out of the spray nozzle then she let me spray her sholder. It was really cute seeing her sucking water from the nozzle. My question is dose anyone else do this whith the babies or do their babies let them do this too?? The whole time she stayed calm and when she had had enough she just slowly walked away to eat more grass.I did't push the the subject and just let her have a good experince.

Oh yeah, because I have my mares foal in warm weather. After about the first week I bring the mare and foal out and the mare gets a bath. The babies love a chance to get out and roam around the barn, have free run around the yard. They do not get to far and soon become curious to all the water around mom I often sneak a fine spray over the back of mom and see what they think and do much like you did, let them see the hose and check it out as much as they would like. They end up as wet as mom sometimes depending on the foal.
