Anyone heard of the plant? Used it? I understand it's wonderful for such things as arthritis and muscle cramps. and skelletal problems. Very interesting reading.

I have used it on myself and several of my family members have used it in healing bone. I broke my foot and took the homeopathic (sp) version of it. Apparently the bone I broke is very hard to heal because it doesn't get much blood flow. It healed in six weeks time, I think the doctor was a little amazed. Comfrey wasn't the only thing I used, but I know it helped. My mother used to grow the plant--you can use the leaves in a tea or a kind of pultice. I have not heard of it used with the applications you are describing. My understanding is that it can be pretty powerful, so I would just do your research as with any herb when starting to use it. The FDA doesn't allow it to be sold in capsule (sp) form. I think the only way you can get it is homeopathic and growing your own plant. At least that is the last information I have.
