Diane, you were right. It didn't take long to get Lovely to the beach. Although we didn't make it down to the water, we stayed on the trails in land. This was Lovely's third ride, so I had Kevin pony her behind Dino for about 15 minutes. The video is me filming while being ponied through water. We rode for an hour after Kevin unhooked us and I'm telling you it was the best ride I've ever had on a horse that green. ;D She followed Dino really well and Kevin took us on the toughest trail out there. He says when there that green they need to work and think about what they need to do. She surely did. We went through the woods and up steep winding trails and down them. The sand was deep in some places. She had to pick up her feet and step over root wads and she NEVER tripped once. I am just so tickled with her. She was afraid of a big white rock(white Styrofoam) and she was afraid of the river (as she has never seen a big body of water before). I just told her to keep going and she did, but she kept an eye on that water! She never tried once to run when she was scared. I can't wait to go back. [
