April 25 at Black Raven in Arlington. Anyone else planning on being there? I think Lil said she was coming up.

Now Kim, what would you need to take your trailer for, unless you were planning to get another horse! Is there one in particular you are after? Is there anywhere we can see pics of the ones up for adoption? Lil

Pick up of yearlings for the YAY Program will be taking place at this adoption. Tara sent me photos if anyone would like to see youthandyearlings.blogspot.com

I take it that the same requirements for fencing for these guys are required by the BLM? That bay with the crescent star is way cute.

Well, we ended up with 9 youth trainers and 11 babies going home with them. DD took 2, as did another trainer. Here's her video from day 2. The adoption itself was disappointing, although compared to last year it was considered good. Five horses aned one reassignment found new homes. There was a lot of color there. Lots. Lovely little palomino yearling filly left behind. Grulla three year old filly left behind. Dun yearling gelding left behind... And this guy. I'm checking to see if he's got an adopter back in Burns (was told someone wanted him), and if he's still there I think I'll try to get him here on the TIP program.

I LOVE his coloring! I hope you get him! Would love to see more pictures of him, especially when he's been in captivity for a bit and is all cleaned up and brushed out, etc.

What you can't really tell from the photo is how light his eyes are...a very golden amber. They were down right spooky looking. I emailed Wendy yesterday and she emailed back to say she'd check into him and see what was going on. I can't get down there for awhile anyway, so if he goes, he goes (which is good, right?)

Maybe double cream gene on black? There is a great Luisitano named Q and another named Umbaba that reminds me of this color.

You can actually somewhat see the eye color and from what I can see of it, it looks very pretty and I'm betting somewhat has the effect of seeming like he's looking right through you

I suspect a champagne dilute. He spent a good deal of time being unsociable... I'm wondering if this is him as well. It's a photo by daughter got in Dec. while we were at the corrals. There are a couple in here that are on the internet adoption right now, too.
