Hello Everyone:
This is what I found on the Foal Train board that I am on concerning BLM Mustang mares coming to Alabama:
"Hey All.
Probably a lot of you don't know me, but the old timers at foal train will. My name is Tony Nafe and I'm in the process of taking in several loads of bred mustang mares from the BLM. They are seriously over crowded and I will be keeping these mares at my place in Wilsonville, AL.
These mares are availble for immediate ownership. They are not adopted horses they are sale horses. There is no waiting for title, these mares are immediately yours should you want one. You must sign a statement of intent of use and that you do not intend to take these horses to a sale barn or sell them for slaughter. You must be able to provide adequate care and facilities for these horses.
Most of these mares are due to foal in the spring and are between 11 and 13 years old. The price on these mares is $75 each or $50 each if you take two. If anyone interested is in these mares please call me at (205) 369-9483 or email me at tonynafefarms@.... The first mares will arrive the 6th or 7th of March."

If anyone is interested in viewing the BLM mares that just arrived in Alabama, you can click on the link below. Tony said they are the nicest looking group of mustangs he has seen. Half of them are in foal and half are open. nafefarms.shutterfly.com/Shirley
