Hilarious......
I went to the website, looking at all the different options on it. Looked at "For Sale" (left hand side button) expecting to see horses for sale... it is a trailer. On the side of it
"MUSTANG"

All I can say is I am very impressed and ya' about that darn money tree, bugs must have got to it this year because I was not seeing any fruit this year. |

SO BEAUTIFUL!! But what did they do to her mane and Tail! i could handel the mane but that tail! I am sure that is a breed thing.
I was also amazed with the change in color from her with the girl to the next photo's!

traditionally, the weanlings are cut like that to get rid of all the baby fuzz so the mane and tail grows out rich and full. Most mare are also shaved when they come in from the winter pasture to get rid of any knots/burrs and also to make breeding easier - don't have to wrap the tail. Each farm has its' own "cut"....different lengths of the tail, how far down the tail is cut, etc.
The mane and tail of horses that are shown are braided and kept up as to not distract from the horse.

Shaving the mane and tail is a breed thing. I thought this filly looked like a Kiger cross from the one photo that Michelle posted, but I would have never thought that from the other pictures on the site. Her head seems to be displaying the Lusitano's Arab influence in some of the pics. She is a pretty girl! |
