That is very interesting that the vets say they see it in gaited breeds. I am going to ask my large animal vets instructors about it. The school has a few horses. One is a TWH/QH cross. I wonder if he might get that condition?

Also, just to give you all a heads up. If any of you have a horse that is good with people and has basic ground manners mastered and would be interested in allowing the school to either have the horse or have it on loan then let me know. I will give the info to the woman that is in charge of which horses come in and out. Would be a great opportunity for 600+ vet tech students to become familiar with Mustangs. I had a fellow student comment to me that Mustangs are insane... sounds like someone needs to actually meet a Mustang before coming up with that opinion!

Thanks for the kind words. Things have been jumping around here, and I have not been on the board.

Dianne, I will try to post about my saddle next week. I'll try to take some pics of it. I am leaving for our first endurance ride Friday and we took hay off over the weekend, so things are a little hectic.

Wow, there are people doing it who look like they wouldn't be in shape for a 10 day ride. Maybe there is hope for me after all...LOL.
