this is this stallions first foal. My mare has thrown solids, her last was a chestnut mare which they own and bred to this stallion. His daddy was dingy, and he is they call him oger.

I would suppose then you could have a black and white or red and white.

well what ever I get as long as mom and baby are healthy and ok I will be fine. But I did learn from this experience.

I think many people have found out that breeding for color does not usually give a good horse. Breed for temperament and conformation first and the color will be wonderful because the horse will be wonderful.

this one looks like its going to be a bay. Always hard to tell with the foal hair. Very cute though

they really feel he will go black, he has told us we will have a black and white for sure, but i reall do not care as long as the baby and mom are fine.

I would be really surprised if that foal turned black and not the same color as it's mother the dark bay. I have seen black foals and they may born and look a steel gray color but never and obvious bay color. But one never knows foal coloring can surprise, I guess.

I really hope he stays that color or mamma's color, She is a pretty filly. this is his second and each one has thrown more color, 3 more babies to go, we shall see.

no but I can get them I did post pictures of his first foal and momma in that one. the next one due any day now is a red Arab x Quarter horse mix, she is at the stables where we are.They just brought her down from the reservation. i will post pictures of her and her baby soon, the other is a solid black Mustang, not sure if i will see that baby they are else where, Then there is my girl Flashy she is a black and white, and has only thrown solids. That other momma whit the cute filly she is Flash's daughter, and that is her granddaughter. but will post pictures as they have them, and as I am able to get them. Love all the comments.
